Mary McDonnell – Nominated for “Outstanding Leading Actress” for Cherry Orchard!

The People’s Light Theatre’s “The Cherry Orchard” – with Mary McDonnell in the cast – has been nominated for several Barrymore Awards nominations for excellence in theater.

Mary McDonnell (The Cherry Orchard, People’s Light)
Catharine Slusar (Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, Theatre Exile)

The other nominations for “The Cherry Orchard” were: Graham Smith (Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Play); Marla Jurgalanis (Outstanding Costume Design) and Dennis Parichy (Outstanding Lighting Design)

Three of the theatre’s production received nominations at this year’s Barrymore awards! Other than The Cherry Orchard, also nominated are “Fences” and “Bach at Leipzig”

The 2015 awards will be presented November 2, 2015 at the Merriam Theater on Broad Street, PA.
